As a coach, I provide a safe, non-judgemental space for you to think freely, reflect, and explore what’s going on for you. I’ll listen closely and ask questions to help you gain clarity about what you’d like to change — and how you might move forward.
Unlike therapy, coaching focuses on the present and future. We don’t spend as much time unpacking the past — instead, we look at where you are now and where you want to go. It’s about helping you get unstuck, make confident decisions, and move towards a life that feels more YOU.
If you’d like to know more, I’ve written a blog that might help.

In a coaching session, you’ll be doing most of the talking — and a fair bit of thinking too.
My role is to guide the conversation with gentle structure and thoughtful questions that help you unpick what’s going on and get clear on your next steps. I’ll support you in getting to the heart of the issue and moving into meaningful action.
No two sessions are the same. I often use visual prompts, movement, or guided visualisation — it’s an eclectic mix, tailored to what works best for you.
If you’re curious, I’ve written a blog that gives more detail on what coaching with me looks like.

That’s more common than you might think — and totally fine. My job is to help you figure it out.
Through gentle, open-ended questions, we’ll explore what’s going on and what matters most to you.
You don’t need all the answers — just a willingness to be curious. By the end of our time together, you’ll feel a lot clearer.

That really depends on what you’re hoping to change.
If you’re looking to work through a specific decision or challenge, I’d suggest starting with 3 sessions. That’s often enough to gain clarity and move forward with confidence.
For deeper, lasting change — like rebuilding confidence, exploring relationships, or finding a new direction — a longer journey is more helpful. 6 to 9 sessions is a good benchmark for this kind of work.
We’ll usually meet every two weeks to begin with, and after the first few sessions, we can review the pace and space them out to suit your needs.
I do occasionally offer one-off sessions, especially for returning clients — feel free to ask me about those.
As with most things, the more energy and intention you bring to the process (and to any grounding practices I suggest), the more you’ll get out of it.

The financial investment depends on the programme that’s right for you.
My taster session is £45, and full coaching packages range from £375 to £700.
I offer a 10% Blue Light Discount, as well as reduced rates for online-only coaching.
Payment plans are also available if you’d prefer to spread the cost.Alongside the financial investment, it’s important to be ready to commit your time, energy, and focus. Coaching works best when you’re open to change and willing to put in the work between sessions.
You have to want things to be different — and if you do, I’ll be right there to support you through it.

At present, coaching is not a regulated profession in the UK — though many, myself included, believe it should be.
The reason this matters is that there’s a big difference between someone who calls themselves a coach and a fully trained, accredited professional.
Rest assured, I fall into the latter category. I hold a Diploma in Transformative Life Coaching and am an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) — widely recognised as the gold standard in coaching.

Short answer — both!
I coach from my home office near Corsham, Wiltshire, or online via Google Meet, whichever suits you best.
I’m also happy to come to your home for coaching sessions, though I generally advise against meeting in cafes or public places to ensure privacy and focus.
For a fresh perspective, I also offer walking coaching — because sometimes blue-sky thinking flows best when you’re out in the open!
“Helen was really encouraging and once she got me started I felt like I couldn’t stop! I completely underestimated the power of just talking and having a platform to speak honestly. It allowed me to really hear my own thoughts, step back, and see them from a different perspective, which gave me so much clarity.
I had been going round in circles for years but at the end of our time together I feel less stuck, confident in my ability to move forward, and a belief that my goals are achievable; I feel empowered. Helen also helped me establish methods to carry this feeling into my day-to-day life.”
