As well as an ICF qualified coach, I'm an Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Practitioner and mum to two teenage boys. I have northern roots but have called Wiltshire home for 14 years.
In my earlier career, I worked in the charity sector; organising events, working with celebrities. It was fun and varied but what I loved most was the knowledge that I was helping people.
Hi, I’m Helen,
Why I do This Work
My own journey with grief began in 2014 when my mum lost her three year battle with cancer. I was 40, she was 70, and my boys were just 4 and 6. It shook my world and left me without my mum at a time when I still needed her so much. I then lost my dad during the pandemic and had to say goodbye to him dressed in PPE on a COVID ward. I won’t lie, it’s been tough.
Trying to grieve while supporting my children through their own emotions, working and leading a busy life was incredibly hard. I kept going, holding everything together on the outside, but inside I felt lost.
Bereavement has shaped me in ways I couldn’t have imagined. At 52 my husband says I’m a different person - and I feel that too. But that’s not a bad thing. I have made peace with my own loss and released the trauma, I have learnt what makes me happy and I feel confident and at peace.
It took me a while to get my sparkle back though and it’s why I’m so passionate about helping others find theirs. I am the support I wish I’d had- a calm, compassionate, understanding space where you can lighten the weight of your grief, regulate, reconnect with yourself, and work out what comes next.
“Helen is empathetic, kind, caring and has a really calming nature.
I came away from each session feeling positive and with a plan of action to help guide me on my way.”

“I wanted to thank you deeply for my session yesterday. You really helped me weed out my most underlying concerns amongst what feels like a very overgrown garden.
With your guidance it really helped me to begin to understand and to find some possible tools to explore moving forward.
It was honestly the best money I’ve spent on myself in a long time!”
